Beginner/Intermediate Thrown Mug Workshp

Service Description

**For students who have taken at least one single session classes or at least one six-week session or have previous wheel experience.** Tried the pottery wheel and loved it? This workshop is designed for beginner and experienced potters who want to refine and develop the skills needed to make a wheel thrown mug. Together, we’ll focus on the foundations of wheel throwing— centering on the wheel, pulling the walls up with more control and consistency, shaping, as well as making and attaching handles. Each participant will be able to keep 1 mug from class. It will be fired and glazed. All mugs will be microwave, dishwasher and food safe. Come ready to get your hands muddy, practice good mug throwing methods, and improve your handles!
