Service Description
Raku Workshop Announcement We’re excited to offer a special Raku firing workshop exclusively for currently enrolled students! This unique experience will take place at Abby’s house in Kenmore, where we’ll be using her outdoor Raku kiln. What to Expect: Raku is a dramatic and fast-paced firing process that involves removing hot pieces from the raku kiln and placing them in combustible materials to create unique finishes and textures. It's an excellent opportunity to explore alternative firing techniques and add bold character to your ceramic work. Details: Location: Abby’s house, 379 Washington Ave, Kenmore (close to studio!) What to Bring: Your bisque-fired Raku pieces, about 6" max, and appropriate clothing for outdoor kiln work. Glaze provided.
