Service Description

A creative collaboration between Eight O’Clock Bookclub and Terra Clay Studio Join Eight O’Clock Bookclub and Terra Clay Studio for a creative evening where stories meet ceramics. Guests will choose from a curated selection of ceramics, including a mug with a loop handle, a medium plate, or a stemless wine glass, and decorate their piece however inspiration strikes. As you work on your pottery, Eight O’Clock Bookclub will guide the group through fun book-themed prompts and discussion questions, sparking conversation, creativity, and connection throughout the evening. To bring our “Strangers to Booklovers” spirit full circle, guests are encouraged to bring a gently used or well-loved book to trade with someone new. It’s not mandatory, but highly recommended — you may just leave with a new friend and your next favourite read. Whether you're channelling your favourite book quote, creating the perfect coffee mug, or simply enjoying a cozy night of creativity with fellow book lovers, this event is all about unwinding, making something beautiful, and connecting with the community. Your ticket includes: • One ceramic piece to paint (mug, medium plate, or stemless wine glass) • Access to Terra Clay Studio’s private event space • All paints and materials needed to create your piece • A guided book-themed prompt discussion hosted by Eight O’Clock Bookclub • Participation in our optional “Strangers to Booklovers” book swap Additional ceramic upgrades will be available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring their favourite snacks and drinks, making for a relaxed, social, creative night out.
